Sports Promotion Case Study

        The Sports Promotion Case Study was based on a website called active.com. Active.com is a website that promotes athletes. This case study featured many videos of athletes named Ryan Melley, and Jack Geiger. Websites like Hudl help you be able to watch or check up on an athlete.
       The Sports Promotion was in Chapter 8. There are many terms through out this chapter. Five terms that will be defined are Advertising, Promotional Advertising, Print Media, Direct Marketing, and Online Advertising. Advertising is a paid promotion of an idea, good or service. Promotional Advertising is advertising with a goal of selling the item being promoted. Print Media is media that is printed- newspapers, magazines, books, mail, etc. Direct Marketing uses various media to communicate directly with consumers to make a sale. Online Advertising is when business can purchase ad's online.
       As a class, we should learn about different  hockey equipment. We should know about all the the different equipment the players have to wear. This equipment is important because hockey players check each other so the equipment has to be strong.
